DeLay's Defeat Only the Beginning

It hasn't been easy. If anything it has been a long, hard slog that has
born few fruits and, even then, the meager yield rarely seemed
satisfying. That is until now. Monday, April 03, 2006, produced the
first of what is likely to be many large and meaningful harvests. Tom
DeLay, the embattled, corrupt, Christian extremist opportunist and one
of Washington DC's most despicable excuses ever for an elected official
has thrown in the towel. He has surrendered to the obvious, been
thoroughly and roundly defeated, and is leaving the political
battlefield completely and utterly dejected, defective, and rejected.
The hammer has finally, rightfully, thankfully, and gratefully fallen.
But he won't be the last Republican run out of town on a rail. Yes, it
hasn't been easy but those fighting the good fight against the stygian
neo-Republican radicals, soon will have much for which to be happy...more
