Dems BLAMED Bush before; Now they must PRAISE him! |
Democrats, you BLAMED President Bush earlier for how the war in Iraq was
going; now you must PRAISE him for how the war is going!
What an unfortunate corner you Democrats have foolishly backed yourselves
into! You have put yourselves in a spider hole, so to speak. How sad it
must be to be a Democrat these days....

Hail King Bush!
Now, if Bush can a) catch Bin Laden, b) quell the insurgences
in Iraq, c) bring our troops home, d) continue the present course of the
economy, and e) hold unemployment under 5% or so without winding up in a
Halliburton or other scandal or war, he might have a shot at being elected

Not at all. I think Bush would have an extremely good shot at being elected
in 2004 if he can accomplish all, if not the majority, of the above. That's
what we have elections for in this country. Of course, we could just hand
over all of the rule to the Republicans and forget the dual or multiple
party system.

Bush's election victory is his to lose at this point. There is no "good
shot" at it if he can accomplish A, B, and C. He's already there, and with
Dean as the apparent competition, this isn't going to be a close one with 6
recounts.
Meanwhile, libs will still be re-living the 2000 election.

I wouldn't imagine the Democrats would ask for six re-counts or any at all
if the race a) weren't so close, b) wasn't the deciding state, and c) a
state run by another Bush. Florida was destined to be re-counted under those
circumstances... just the same as if the tables had been turned and it was
NY that was at issue.

Bush is still toast - finding Saddam isn't the same thing as finding the
traitor in the White House, scamming the elderly or bullying congressman and
offering bribes - to name but three.
Glad the soldiers got him - but the plastic turkey in the White House is
still a goner in 2004.

I have not seen a single instance of any Democrat or anyone else
against the invasion and occupation of a contained Iraq who said "This
war will be justified if they find Saddam."
What an unfortunate corner you Democrats have foolishly backed yourselves

What corner? Whether the US would win in a battle against Saddam and
Iraq was never a question. Of course we would.
The question was whether a contained Iraq and Saddam posed a threat
that justified a costly invasion and occupation. The question was
whether the actual threat posed by Iraq justifies the continuing loss
of US life and limited resources.
As much as you would like to think that simply finding Saddam in a
hole erases those questions, it doesn't.
Hell, unlike Bin Laden, (remember him? the Saudi who actually DID
attack the US!) we knew exactly where Saddam was before we invaded.

Democrats, you BLAMED President Bush earlier for how the war in Iraq was
going; now you must PRAISE him for how the war is going!
I have not seen a single instance of any Democrat or anyone else
against the invasion and occupation of a contained Iraq who said "This
war will be justified if they find Saddam."
Dean The Democrat has made it CLEAR he is opposed to waging war against
Muslim Terrorists in Iraq.
You must have been living under some sort of rock, or hiding out in some
spider hole, for the past year or so to have missed Dean's public comments
about his attitude concerning waging war in Iraq, Art. Dean made it clear
he was opposed to going to war in Iraq. Which makes it equally clear that
he is upset by the capture of Saddam Hussein. Al Gore is probably not a
happy camper today either, because he just got through endorsing Dean and
Dean's attitude concerning fighting the Muslim Terrorist in Iraq.
Make no mistake, Art - the Dean/Gore Wing of the Democrat Party looks very,
very stupid today.

Make no mistake, idiot, your lies make you look stupid.
People opposing the war never based their opposition on whether Saddam
would be caught or not. They based it on the question:
"Does Iraq pose a threat that justifies a US invasion and occupation?
Please cite the threat."
Bush cited Iraq's supposed WMD capability and made many allusions to
9/11. Bush also cited Saddam's mass murders, but the catch there is
that Saddam did most of these killings during the '80's while Reagan,
Bush I, Rummy and Cheney watched.
We were all glad that Saddam has been captured, but Saddam's capture
does nothing to support Bush's case in justifying the invasion and
ongoing occupation.

WMD's coming soon.
I have always speculated that Bush would release the real info when the time
is right.

What an unfortunate corner you Democrats have foolishly backed yourselves
into! You have put yourselves in a spider hole, so to speak. How sad it
must be to be a Democrat these days....

Look, when a clown manages to slide halfway out of
his own shitty drawers, it's not really a triumph.
The praise belongs to the guy who doesn't soil himself in the first place.
"All Hail Son of a Bush, the true messiah, who has brought us
true peace and prosperity, just as he promised. Bow down,
ye sinners. Black is white and up is down, just as foretold."
LOL

No, getting rid of Saddam was the ONLY thing Bush had any authorization
to do from the U.N.
He was NOT authorized to force a " democracy " on Iraq,
He was NOT authorized to remove mayors of various towns from office and
install his own henchmen.
He was NOT authorized to hand out contracts to American companies ..
issuing contracts to rebuild Iraqi is the business of the Iraqi people,
the the business of Halliburton and other Republican campaign contributors.
Getting Saddam was GOOD.
Everything else he has done falls pretty much on the bad side of the ledger.

WMD's coming soon.
They've there the entire time you know WMD=Weasels of Mass Deception. If
sonmeone had known for sure taht WMD's didn't exist they would have said so
in the UN and resisted or even vetoed resolution 1441. To do otherwise would
have been a crime against Iraq and its people. Since that didn't happen we
all must assume that every world leader agreed that the evidence pointed to
Saddam having weapons of mass destruction. Your attempt to claim hind site
as foresite is laughable and an extension of the WMD program I outlined in
the first sentence of this responce.
I have always speculated that Bush would release the real info when the
time
is right.

When is that - right before the election rather than when they are
actually found (assuming they are actually found)? Now there is a fine
example of restoring honesty and integrity to the whitehouse.
