The Democratic Party continues to hold a sizeable lead over the
Republicans in Gallup's ongoing tracking of public preferences for the
fall congressional elections.
According to the latest survey, conducted July 6-9, 2006, 51% of
registered voters plan to vote for the Democratic candidate in their
district and 41% plan to vote for the Republican.

How about Bush whomps up a new "national Emergency", as for instance,
an attack on North Korea, Iran, Syria, et al? How about he suspends the
election because of the "emergency"?
He knows that if the Repubs lose the House there will be hearings,
investigations, indictments, convictions; and if the Senate is also
lost, impeachment/conviction; and even jail time.
