Do you think Bush has Korsakov's syndrome? |
Plug the phrase into Google to find out what it is if you do not know.
Question though given what we know about Bush's substance abuse in the past
(he has admitted it, one reason he came to a saving knowledge of Christ),
do you think he exhibits the symptoms?

It appears some of the symptoms are present. If he
fell off the wagon, it might be a good bet. Perhaps he
did and his handlers are keeping up appearances.

term memory is intact

The thread about "dry drunks" covered the same thing, but the author didn't
name is as Korsakov's Syndrome.
Bush admitted to being a drunk for 20 years. He admitted that he couldn't
remember a day he didn's have a drink for that period. And Billy Graham
"cured" him? Yeah. More power to Graham for getting Bush off the booze, and
frankly, more power to Bush for accepting the help and gettng off the booze.
But the damage is done. The symptoms are so obvious we can see them through
news filters. This is not someone we want in the top spot "making decisions"
for 4 years let alone 8 years.

Yeah. More power to Graham for getting Bush off the booze, and

Well, remember we are hearing the original story from a long term drunk. The
way I heard it, he went to Graham for help. Graham probably set him up in
the Bible study group. I'm sure he went ahead of a lot of other drunks
because of his privileged family. Bottom line, of course, is that nobody can
drink constantly for 20 years and not suffer the physical ravages of alcohol
abuse. The best Graham and the Bible group can do is help him prevent
further abuse. Whether that has been successful or not, we don't really
know. He might hide in Clinton's ***** study off the Oval Office and
drink Wild Turkey all night wishing he was getting some too.
