Does Tricky Dicky Cheney have a future with the Ku Klux Klan?. |
Vice President Crashcart has been out hunting again, and you know what
that means - trouble!
This time Cheney didn't manage to shoot any of his companions in the
face, but he did cause a stir by making his second visit to the Hudson
Valley gun club, where, according to CNN, "well-heeled enthusiasts
shoot ducks and peasants."

Mayor Richard Daley Sr. (D) Chicago Mayor tried to keep blacks off the
city council by creating high rise buildings in what amounted to a red
lining of the city.
Daley offered enticements to get blacks to move in. Gradually the number
of blacks on the city council began to fall as the number of black
controlled districts decreased. It seemed the plan was working until
blacks began to protest the conditions of what was termed "Ghettos in the
Sky".
By consolidating blacks to a few square blocks, Richard Daley had reduced
the number of black councilmen and black districts. The riots that
followed were as much to do about politics as slum conditions.
When black marchers took to the streets, Mayor Daley ordered police
mounted on horseback to ride into the peaceful marchers and hit them with
Billy clubs. It is rumored he called the clubs "***** knockers" and said
no cop were to return until they was covered with blood.

West Virginia's Democratic Senator Robert Byrd was a recruiter for the
Klan rising to the title of Kleagle and Exalted Cyclops of his local
chapter.
Even after KKK Bobby Byrd in a Freudian slip and blerted out his "white
*****" remark on national television and despite the fact he still keeps
the stars and bars flag in his office the senate democrats stand
shoulder-to-shoulder with Klansman Bobby Byrd of W-Va.
