Dr. Ali Shahristani exposed as liar! |
In a closely argued interview on BBCs Hardtalk programme this evening. Dr.
Ali Shahristani was exposed as a liar who along with Ahmad Chalabi fooled
the US into believing that Saddam had WMDs in Iraq.
A former Saddam buddy who lived in luxury while Iraqis starved, Shahristani
broke with Saddam over the development of nukes.
The hypocritical liar (who was fortunately kicked out of power by Iraqi
leaders) defended working with Al Sadr and said that al Sadrs killing of
Iraqi policemen was not a serious matter. He condemned the US for dealing
with Ba'athists in Falluja while conveniently forgetting that it was the
Iraqi Governing Council who pressured the Coalition to make that deal in
order to avoid confrontation in Falluja.
He was asked why he did not support Sunni ba'athists killing Iraqis while he
was happy to accept and deal with Shias who did so and was unable to answer.
He along with Chalabi should answer for his crimes of feeding false
information to the West. And in his case for trying to pursued the US to arm
the Sh'ias to fight Saddam in order to bring about a Sh'ia State rather than
go in and free all the people of Iraq.
