In this particular instance, it appears that Saddam's official WAS
telling the UN the gospel truth. Iraq said it did not have WMDs and
we can't find the WMDs. Therefore, Iraq's Naji Sabri DID tell the UN
the truth.

For 12 years Saddam played games with UN inspectors all the while
not complying to the surrender terms. Who cares if there are no WMD's
found, Saddam sure went out of his way to make everyone think he had them.

Then why did Saddam want inspectors in when Bush wanted them out?

Because it just would be yet ANOTHER game to be played on the
inspectors. NEVER were they allowed full cooperation.
Bush was tired and was not going to play Hussein's games that the UN
and france, germany were so delighted to play with him.

It was the USA that played games with the inspections, sending CIA
operatives as inspectors and providing useless intelligence to
Blix and others.

Charles Duelfer is David Kay's replacment. He has been there
before pretending to be an inspector, but actually as a spy.
