locked up in a cage incommunicado unable to contradict Bush's

WAS a danger was Bush's operative phrase. Saddam was not a danger to
his neighbors (never mind anyone else) since his crushing in the first
Gulf War (reinforced by the continual bombardment for the next 12
years). The second war merely removed this crushed wreck of a despot
(and secured Iraqi oil, and a base for further conquests). As for
Saddam's alleged arrest, there's little evidence to suggest he's still
alive or in internment -- just a few video clips of his "arrest", with
no evidence of date, plus the claim of a member or two of the Iraqi
puppet government to have visited him in captivity.

In this particular instance, it appears that Saddam's official WAS
telling the UN the gospel truth. Iraq said it did not have WMDs and
we can't find the WMDs. Therefore, Iraq's Naji Sabri DID tell the UN
the truth.

Blix never said that the Iraqis were fully cooperating with the
inspectors, only that it was 'improving'...cooincendently enough right
when our soldiers were gearing up to invade.
'Improving' was not good enough. He should have immediately allowed
full inspections starting 12 years ago.

You mean not good enough for you or the Fuhrer, so we had
to kill 12000+ people right away, burn 150 billion dollars, destroy
our international relations, instead of waiting a few months more
and the extra time inspecting all those supposed WMD hide outs
