As we draw closer to the 2004' elections, POLLWATCH will begin
recruiting people to conduct exit polling at voter precincts around
the Country.

Initially, major emphasis will be placed on the State of Florida, for
obvious reasons relating to the 2000' Presidential election. Other
States using computer voting machines with the lack of paper audit
trails will be next in line.

This is a National movement of local involvement, by individual
citizens, who can effect positive changes both locally and
Nationally!

Most State exit polling regulations allow for polling 0'-300' from
any polling place. As long as you only speak to those who have
already voted, and state that it is a 'voluntary' poll, you have
every right to enquire.

The Supreme Court of the United States has presided over and
guaranteed these rights in past rulings.

The plan is to recruit precinct organizers who will be password
encrypted in our system. With their effort and our help, we hope to
bring together from 1-12 additional counters, canvassers, and
witnesses for each polling place. These citizens can share
responsibilities and split up shifts.

We must count every voter, and poll anyone willing. Starting when
the doors open, and ending when the last voter has voted.

All necessary information for your area will be provided by
POLLWATCH as thing progress.

We are realistic, conducting exit polls at every precinct will
probably not be achievable by 2004, but by focusing our attention
where it is needed most, we can go along way toward achieving our
goals and gradually become a nationwide organization of citizen
involvement.

Without YOU these plans can never be realized.

And without POLLWATCH we may never know what we are
giving up or what the truth might be.
