This figure also appears (unsourced) in Heather Mac Donald's testimony
before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Border
Security, and Claims:
"In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide in
the first half of 2004 (which totaled 1,200 to 1,500) targeted illegal
aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) were
for illegal aliens."
Even if the statistic is accurate, however, it is subject to a variety
of interpretations. For example, illegal aliens might be
disproportionately represented by outstanding homicide warrants in Los
Angeles because they are more likely to flee the jurisdiction before
their cases are adjudicated than legal residents are (not necessarily
because they commit a far greater share of the homicides in Los
Angeles).
In other words, what George Washington Admirer is posting is all a pile
of unverifiable assertions and blatant lies/misrepresentations. About
the only thing you people can ever provide, really its no wonder why
nothing ever happens with your little movement.

Well, you proved one thing I've suspected: there is nothing about
citizenship status on the first link of yours, supporting my suspicion
that many opponents of "illegals" actually use the term "illegals"
interchangably with "hispanic".
Secondly, though you put stars around "literally", you offer no
evidence for the next claim. I suppose we could take you at your word,
but it's already starting to show some tarnish by this point.
Lastly, who knew if you looked at a list of "Fled the Country"
fugitives, darn near all of them have fled the country. Though I'm not
sure what you are trying to prove with this point (there are plenty of
natural born Americans who have fled the country when warrants were
issued for them), that is either incredibly dishonest of you or quite
ignorant of what you are actually reading. Either way, doesn't look
good for you.

we may be able to say that most illegals are hispanic, it does not
neccessarily mean it works the other way: that most hispanics are
illegals. If you check the numbers, you will see that is not true. So,
by simply finding a list of "most wanted" with hispanic names, it is
not a logical conclusion to say they are all illegals. It was one of
many fallacies in the original post.

Actually, quite correct, if you consider that about 80% of hispanics
in this country are here illegally or are here because one of their relatives
arrived illegally. The whole pack of them ought to be deported.

Here's where you're wrong: Due to your utter cluelessness and
ignorance of the realties "on the ground" you're pathetically unable to
look at the mug shots at the link I posted and combine and synthesize a
variety of information -- the photos, the names, the crimes, the fact
that they've fled the U.S. etc. -- to arrive at the CORRECT
conclusiuon that they virtually all are, indeed, ILLEGAL ALIENS.

The fact is that the overwhelming majority of illegal aliens resident
in the USA are, indeed, Hispanic. Only someone utterly blind to reality
would deny this.
Having said that, neither I nor anyone I know of has EVER implied
that ALL illegal alien are Hispanic. In fact,at the risk of being
accused of engaging in patronizing behavior I myself, in numerous
previous posts, have taken pains to point out that Hispanic Americans
are among the finest U.S. citizens one will find; that is, Americans of
Hispanic heritage. Illegal aliena by their very nature are LAWBREAKERS
who have shown nothing but contempt for our laws as they've flouted
them left and right.
