In recent weeks, three tots in Tucson have been found, murdered.
Four-year-old Ariana Payne is dead (found in a plastic tub in a storage
locker) and her 5-year-old brother Tyler is presumed dead and lying
somewhere in a landfill. Tucson police believe their father starved them
to death.
Five-year-old Brandon Williams is dead, the scars of abuse covering his
arms and ankles from where he was repeated tied up. Sheriff's
investigators believe the autistic boy's mother gave him a killer dose
of adult sleeping meds.
Child Protective Services was involved with both families. The agency's
actions have so alarmed two legislators that they're planning hearings
this summer to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it.
But here's the kick to the gut. We can't know what went wrong. CPS won't
release the records ("ongoing investigation") and even if they did,
they'd only release a CPS-supplied summary -- not the actual documents.
Reps. Kirk Adams and Jonathan Paton can't talk about what's in the
files. They had to sign a confidentiality agreement just to look at
them. And this summer's legislative hearings won't be open to the
public. Again, that pressing need for confidentiality.
The question is, confidentiality for who? The kids are dead. They don't
need it. The CPS workers, maybe?
We have no idea whether or not CPS botched these cases. Apparently, we
who pay the bills to fund this agency aren't entitled to know (or so it
seems). But what we do know points to a crying need to let the sunshine
in over at CPS.

DAILY BASIS THEN ALL OTHER AGENCIES COMBINED INCLUDING THE NATIONAL
SECURITY AGENCY/CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY WIRETAPPING PROGRAM....
CPS Does not protect children...
It is sickening how many children are subject to abuse, neglect and even
killed at the hands of Child Protective Services.

Neglect CPS 410, Parents 241
Fatalities CPS 6.4, Parents 1.5
Imagine that, 6.4 children die at the hands of the very agencies that
are supposed to protect them and only 1.5 at the hands of parents per
100,000 children. CPS perpetrates more abuse, neglect, and sexual abuse
and kills more children then parents in the United States. If the
citizens of this country hold CPS to the same standards that they hold
parents too. No judge should ever put another child in the hands of ANY
government agency because CPS nationwide is guilty of more harm and
death than any human being combined. CPS nationwide is guilty of more
human rights violations and deaths of children then the homes from which
they were removed. When are the judges going to wake up and see that
they are sending children to their death and a life of abuse when
children are removed from safe homes based on the mere opinion of a
bunch of social workers.

TAKE A STAND ON THIS ISSUE.") THEN REMEMBER TO VOTE ACCORDINGLY IF THEY
ARE "FAMILY UNFRIENDLY" IN THE NEXT ELECTION...
