Congress is expected to vote on a measure (early as Monday) that will
water down existing "identity theft" legislation. They are doing this
despite the fact that at least 90 million of us have had our identities
compromised in the rash of data breaches in the past couple of years.
Not only is our protection at stake, but this might have a negative
effect on our ability to secure our borders and will allow the
organized criminals - who deal in stolen identities - to prosper.
