Why was Bush so single mindedly emphatic about invading Iraq? WMD? Not a
chance. Even Bush knew that was a smoke screen. Vendetta to avenge his dad's
error in the Gulf War? Nope. Bush knew that his dad's reputation didn't need
rescuing. Wealth for his family from the Saudis? Now we're onto something.
Oil prices had been falling for years and the Saudis were getting desperate.
A war in Iraq with lingering effects for years is just what the House of
Saud needed as it would raise oil prices and keep them high, not to mention
taking Iraq largely out of the competitive oil market. Bush and Cheney cut
the deal in secret meetings. Money for the Bushes and Cheneys would flow
discreetly to secret bank accounts and keep flowing for many years.
Bush/Cheney head the most criminal administration in US history.
