Whitman blasts GOP right wing
ASSOCIATED PRESS
Former Gov. Christie Whitman says the conservative wing of the
Republican Party has made moderates feel like outcasts, along with
anyone else who doesn't support their views on social causes.
Whitman, whose book, "It's My Party, Too: The Battle for the Heart of
the GOP and the Future of America," advocates moving the GOP back
toward the political center, and says compromise seems no longer
possible on most issues.
"They believe you're either 100 percent with us, or you're the enemy.
You're not just against us. You're evil, and we need to take you out,"
Whitman said Tuesday before a speech at the Aspen Institute in
Colorado.

I live in the Democratic Peoples Republic of New Jersey. Cristie Whitman
advocated the confiscation of private property without compensation and
it had nothing to do with crime. She's as much a Republican as Karl Marx.
