If you've been following the news lately, you know that Harriet Miers
told Congress she will not honor a subpoena from Congress. Think about
it. This administration is telling Congress they are above the law. If
this modern Congress would ever get up enough gumption to finally
impeach Mr. Nixon, I mean Mr. Bush, it's likely this lawless
administration would not honor the subpoenas anyway. President
Clinton's administration did.
Then you heard a new Osama bin Laden tape rolled out where Osama looks
exactly like he did in 2001. Most of us have aged in the last five
years, but not Osama. Maybe because Osama really died in 2001, as
believed by the FBI, President Musharraf of Pakistan and many others.
But you need to make the public believe he is still alive to have an
excuse to continue endless war, and you can roll him out on cue in a
CIA doctored tape whenever you need an excuse to keep the crazy "troop
surge" in place or something. Has this administration ever stopped
lying to us since their lies to get us into the Iraqi War?

Then you have the American military under General David Petraeus in
the last several months calling everybody al Qaeda, where they used to
often call them Sunnis and Shiites, an obvious lie and propaganda to
keep us in Iraq. In the last several months they just started calling
everybody al Qaeda. Does the military ever report that the US ever
kills Iraqis? Returning soldiers tell tales of indiscriminate killing
of Iraqi civilians being commom and usually goes unpunished, but you
never hear this from the military.
