Fred Thompson pro-Choice, voted against tougher enforcement; supported Feingold Bill... |
Fred Thompson Candidate, his short years (8) in Senate Votes:
pro-Choice, voted against tougher enforcement; supported Feingold
Bill...
1) For abortion (before 1st trimester, i.e. Pro-Choice)
2) Thompson's record on immigration is decidedly mixed.
In the Senate, Thompson voted AGAINST tougher
enforcement of immigration laws. Two votes in
particular will be of concern to immigration
activists:
3) Sen. Thompson, in committee consideration of S.1664
protected businesses from having to pay higher fines
when they are caught hiring illegal aliens
4) The big one during his 8 years in Congress is the
McCain-Feingold bill. Thompson was a huge advocate
of the bill during his time in the Senate and each
year
his support for the legislation would knock around 4%
off his ACU rating. One year, it actually knocked
around
12% off as 3 different votes on Campaign reform were
counted.
I would like to see a McCain Thompson ticket, *IF
Thompson were Pro-Life, and *IF Thompson had
not supported the Visa Overstayers (which was the
status of most of the 9/11 hijackers.)

He is a good actor, he will be elected just like Reagan.

Yup.
Kyajer cracks me up, he just so blatantly transparent, one week he's
such a racist Illegals-lovin' liberal they would make him the doorman
at San Francisco Gay Latino Bathhouse. Next week he is "American
Patriot" giving us (his fellow republicans :) sage advice on that
great Conservative McCain. Kjayer wants y'all Republicans out there to
steer away from that Fred Thompson character, he might have done
something to assist Illegals is some way. Kjayer (liberal anti-white
racist slash american patriot) is just like yoo and me and doesn't
like that one bit.
yukkity yuk
It a great usenet mystery why jokers like him seem to honestly believe
that they can fool all of the people all of the time. Or even some of
the time. I tend to chalk it up to either 1) Too many drugs, or 2) Not
enough drugs.

John McCain is a moderate and ultra
conservative when it comes to abortion,
he is pro-Life, and the only top candidate
that is totally pro-Life. This is the
number one issue with me.
Kjayer wants y'all Republicans out there to

Thompson is better than Giuillian or Romney,
I would vote for him before those two; and
of course no contest between Thompson and
who the Democrates have running.

McCain and Thompson are about the same except
McCain is totally pro-Life and he voted against
the Visa extension which allowed the 9/11 terrorists
to overstay.

What is your position on abortion?
What is your position on the 2nd amendment?
How would you balance the federal budget?
What would you do to make SS viable in the future?
What would you do to make Medicare viable in the future?
What is your position on SDI?
How would you fight radical Islam?
How did you vote in the last 4 presidential elections?

I'm pro-Life.
What is your position on the 2nd amendment?
I'm for the right of the people to keep and bear arms.
How would you balance the federal budget?
Tax cuts, smaller Government, cut waste,
cut out money to foreign governments who
are not fully behind the U.S. (the U.S.
gives billions/trillions over the years
and many of these governments have voted
against the U.S. over 85% of the time!)
Most kind of Social services should be
worked for in some way or another (this
only brings down the person on the receiving
end); ect. ect...
What would you do to make SS viable in the future?
At least a portion of SS should be invested so it grows.
What would you do to make Medicare viable in the future?
1. Don't let government run it; private industry
would be better.
What is your position on SDI?
100% behind SDI, also increase intelligence
around the world.
How would you fight radical Islam?
Aside from full bloom intelligence and along
with this highly sophisticated intelligence; go
from the understanding that they only understand
brut strength and go from there.
How did you vote in the last 4 presidential elections?
Republican.

And lobbied for savings and loan deregulation.
That turned out swell.

He probably will win for that. It would be consistent with the unwritten
policy against the percentage of Americans who are not millionaires.
Economic policy sponsored by actors. Great. I'm sure California's
Governator has a great perspective on the people when he purchases 15,000
boxes of Cigars.
