Paid for by Democrats!

Actually, paid for by ALL of us, because we all buy gas that comes from
Saudi oil, and the Saudis are the biggest financial backers the insurgents
have. But Bush walks in the Rose Garden holding hands with their king.

Saudi oil is small percentage of imported US oil.

Nice rationalization. So only a dollar or two out of each $50 fill-up goes
to support the people who are trying to kill our troops? I'm sure that
eases your concience at he pumps.

So Rush claims, but there has been no hard evidence to back the claim up.

Of course I do. The Saudi government is the entity ordering the beheading

Iraq.
No, the evidence indicates that the Shi'ite Iranians are supporting the
Shi'ite Maliki governemt, not the Sunni insurgents.

Of course I do. The Saudi government is the entity ordering the

beheading

in a public square of those who don't accede to their wishes.

Its THEIR country, its THEIR gov't, and its mostly NOT OUR BUSINESS.

Perhaps we should have taken the same approach when it came to Iraq in 2003.
Saddam was a brutal dictator, and that was the ONLY attempted justification
for the war, among the many put out by the administration, that had any
element of truth to it whatsoever.

The Saudi
citizens are the ones being beheaded if they don't accede to those

wishes.

See above.

Yes, please DO see above.

Seen any beheadings of individuals who support the Iraqi insurgency
lately?

Nope. I'll have to give the Iraqis credit. They don't make their
beheadings a public spectacle.

Ever since we killed Zarqawi beheadings have stopped.

To be more accurate, since we killed Zarqawi we haven't SEEN any beheadings.
With our news from Iraq being so closely monitored and filtered by our
military, what we see and what happens may very well not be the same thing.

But you DUCKED the question.

Where is your PROOF that the Saudi GOVERNMENT is supporting terrorism?

Saudi Arabia is an autocratic monarchy. NOTHING happens in that country (or
coming out of that country) without the support, or at the very least the
consent, of the government.

Perhaps you should pay attention.

Its THEIR country, its THEIR gov't, and its mostly NOT OUR BUSINESS.

Right. And Iraq was the Iraqi's country, and Saddam was their governement
and that was mostly none of our business. Do I detect a bit of a double
standard here?

Seen any beheadings of individuals who support the Iraqi insurgency
lately?

Nope. I'll have to give the Iraqis credit. They don't make their
beheadings a public spectacle.

Yet you believe they do based on what?

The fact that it's a favored method of execution in that part of the world.
Either 1) beheadings are happening; 2) the prisons are running at better
three times their capacity (based on the number that we and the Iraqi puppet
government have claimed to have caught) or 3) they're really not catching
any. Gotta be one of those three things.

Ever since we killed Zarqawi beheadings have stopped.

No, that would be the Iranians.

So Rush claims, but there has been no hard evidence to back the claim up.

The evidence proves quite the opposite. The Sauds have already stated
their intention to undermine the Da'wa govt of Iraq, unless more power
is granted to the Sunni minority.
Ten years ago Nouri al-Maliki was living in Tehran, as a guest of the
Islamic Republic. Why would they want to undermine /him/?

Fact is, the Saudi government, as well as many Wahabbi princes, actively
support the Sunni insurgents of al-Anbar. Only the ininformed are
unaware of this.

But Bush walks in the Rose Garden holding hands with their king.

Compared to 90% of course it is.

To avoid giving $$$ to Islamists, buy CITGO.

To avoid SUPPORTING SOCIALISM don't buy CITGO.

How is supporting a socialist country with a democratically elected

leader

You forgot to mention he was allegedly democratically elected AFTER HE
BROUGHT TWO FAILED MILITARY COUPS.

No "allegedly" about it. He was democratically elected in 1998 in an
election that was closely monitored by several international watchdog groups
and judged to be "clean". In fact, many international observers say
Venezuela's 1998 election had fewer irregularities than our 2000 or 2004
elections. And just one coup attempt. Chavez led the attempted coup of
February of 1992 . . . a popular uprising the had the support of the vast
majority of the people . . . against Carlos Andres Perez who Venezuelans had
come to view as a corporatist dictator . . . but wasn't involved in the
November attempt to overthrow Perez. None of which has a damned thing to do
with whether we should be buying our oil from Venezuela or not.

somehow worse than supporting a feudalistic country with a hereditary
tyrant
for a leader, where a portion of that support goes to finance those who
are
shooting at our troops?

If you buy Citgo gas you are buying 100% Socialist oil, if you buy almost
any other gas you are buying 90% NON-Saudi oil. Let me know if the math

is

too hard for you.

The math's not hard at all. I can buy Citgo, which helps a democratically
elected socialist help the lower class people in his country, or I can buy
other brands and help the major oil companies that are screwing us over, the
Saudis who screw their own people over and fund the Sunni insurgents that
are killing our troops and also help the Kuwaiti and EAE emirs who are
perhaps marginally better than the Saud Royal Family, but are still
totalitarian tyrants. And when I buy Citgo I pay about 15˘ a gallon less.
Nope. The math isn't hard at all.

For the life of me, I'll never understand fanatical ideologues.

Except your own.

An ideologue isn't something you or I can have. It's something you ARE. I
see that big words confuse you too.
