Porn star attends GOP fund-raiser
Mary Carey plans run for California lieutenant governor
(She oughta fit right in with the Gropeinator)
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Blond porn star, political candidate. And now you can add
one more line to Mary Carey's resume: Republican booster.
Carey was in Washington on Tuesday to attend the President's Dinner, an
annual fund-raiser put on by the National Republican Congressional Committee
and the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
A few hours before the dinner, Carey met with reporters to show off her
evening gown and talk about a Republican lunch she and her boss, adult film
executive Mark Kulkis, attended.
"I met a lot of nice people," Carey said of the lunch, where presidential
adviser Karl Rove spoke. "I met some people who talked about helping me with
donating money to my next campaign."
She plans to run for lieutenant governor of California next year as an
independent. But her trip to Washington has swayed Carey's political
leanings. She says she has been a Republican "for a couple of days."
Anyone expecting her to cause a scene with her attire at the President's
Dinner might be disappointed.
She was wearing a black, floor-length gown. The only color added to the
outfit was her red, white and blue Republican elephant lapel pin and
similarly patriotic fingernails.

The Republican Party has brought honor and dignity back to the Oval Office,
and it shows, especially in terms of political donations.
For the first four months of 2005, the RNC has raised $42.3 million in
contributions from individuals, 70 percent ($29.3 million) of which arrived
in increments below $200. The DNC, home of the former occupant of the Oval
Office, has raised only $17 million, by way of comparison.
From the little guy, donors contributing less than $200, the Republican
total is 2.25 times that of the Democrats!.

Why the little guy supports a party that picks his pocket while subsidizing

Bush's $10 Trillion Borrowing Binge
New projections from the Congressional Budget Office indicate that
continuation of President Bush's budget policies will triple the national
debt by the end of fiscal 2013. Left unchecked, Bush's reckless approach to
fiscal policy will saddle our children with an additional $10 trillion in
debt just ten years from now.

Little guys, like me, are actually beginning to see their pockets are
picked every time they must pay a tax. So it's mystery to me why people
like you still believe in the party line about benevolent government,
the power of the vote, and the Common Good. What is that Common Good?
Soon the US will be just another 3rd world country like Argentina. You
will look to China to send us foreign aid. Maybe you can persuade them
to finance the existing policies that have so miserably failed. Tell the
rich Chinese merchants and capitalists that socialism is in everyone's
interest. Tell them they owe you a free lunch. Let me know what they say.

implicitly and explicitly two key truths:
The first is that government does not grant rights it acknowledges them.
They exist independently of government. They're part of who and what we

only legitimate function of government is to secure them.
The second is that government is a servant to whom we delegate powers,
not a master who dispenses privileges. The Constitution carefully
enumerates the powers we, the people, delegate to our government and it
specifically denies that government any powers not so delegated. Our
rights lie beyond the pale of that delegation. They are sacrosanct. Any
government which infringes upon them is engaged in an intolerable
usurpation.

A "right" as envisioned by the Founders meant that the government was
not permitted to interfere with your pursuit of them, i.e., your
pursuit of happiness was to be unhindered by government.
The "right" of free speech means that government cannot interfere
with your free speech. The "right" of gun ownership means that the
government cannot infringe your gun ownership. What does "right" to
health care mean? It means that the government cannot stand in the
way of your pursuit of health care, or impede your obtaining health
care. The "right" to an attorney means that the government cannot
prevent you obtaining an attorney to represent you.
Of course, "right" has incorrectly come to mean that someone must
supply you with something. If your "right" to housing means that some
slave must supply you with housing, and your "right" to health care
means that some slave must supply you with health care, and your
"right" to an attorney means that some slave must supply you with an
attorney, does your "right" to free speech mean that some slave must
supply you with a loudspeaker, or TV air time? Does your "right" to own
guns mean that some slave must supply you with guns?

Even a little terd like you should be aware that sometimes it even rains
in the desert. In the '90s that rain came from capitalist enterprises
like Apple and Microsoft both of which were among many that fueld a
revolutionary new way of living. They even managed to sell a lot to
other countries. Democrats and government had nothing to do with it
except get to collect more tax money.
Think of this as an example of supply side economics. Can you spell
economics?

Actually, by simply dismissing people with whom you disagree by calling
them names, you don't do much service to your cause. Anyone can call
someone an idiot -even an idiot.
