President Bush used his tour of India to promote his longtime support for
outsourcing in general and to India in particular, as he visited the high
tech stronghold city of Hyderabad on Friday.
The President said "globalization provides great opportunities," but he
added that: "People do lose jobs as a result of globalization and it's
painful for those who lose jobs."
According to news reports from India, Bush said he wanted more H-1B visas to
be available for Indian professionals to work in the U.S. and he told Indian
business students that places in more U.S. universities should be available
for Indian students.
Indian high tech entrepreneurs have hailed Bush's outsourcing stance ever
since the President's economic report to Congress in 2004 in which he said,
"When a good or service is produced more cheaply abroad, it makes more sense
to import it than to make or provide it domestically."
While Bush was welcomed heartily by Indian officials and businessmen, tens
of thousands protested his visit.
Some Muslim engineering students jeered Bush and shouted support for
terrorist leader Osama bin Laden. "Osama is our ideal, we can die for
Osama," howled some engineering students, according to news service reports.
"We love him more than our parents."

Watch shiftless American workers respond to their beleaguered employers (who
ask only that the worker educate himself better and put in a little more
effort) with union-induced backtalk and sass. Hail to the Indian worker: he
is better educated than the lowly American, works harder than the slothlike
American, and asks for much less pay than the greedy American. Hail to the
Chinese worker: he is even better than the Indian worker and is vastly
superior to the American in virtually every way.
I, just like our good and godlike President whose boots I am not worthy to
lick, yearn for the day when the American worker gets his just punishment.
Foreigners are intrinsically better than Americans and must be sucked up to
at every opportunity; at last we have a man in the White House who
understands that!
Bow! Bow down, you Americans, to your new colonial masters: we, the foreign
globalist power elite! We will control your destiny as easily as we control
your ports! You Americans deserve your new status as mere provincials--stop
your incessant whining and learn to accept outsourcing when we choose to
assign it to you! Do as you are told!
Do As You Are Told
(run out and get me a beer, you servile American)
