Gang Activity and Terrorism...whats the difference? |
There is lots of gang activity in the Wash. DC metro area (much of it
hispanic immigrants). Just last week a boys hands were chopped off with a
machete do to gang violence. Whats next a head being chopped off?? This gang
violence is really nothing more than another form of terrorist activity.
Will the Bush administration address these issues as terrorism or does oil
have to be involved? Terrorism is terrorism in many forms, the patriot act
was forced down our throats so I say lets now use it to address
gang/terrorist activity right here in the nations capital right in veiw of
the Whitehouse.

Heh, they didn't care back when there was a Murder A Day (actually, a
little more) in 1987, why should they care about a machete-attack per
year out in the 'burbs?

But thay want to clean up Iraq half way around the world, when they can look
out there back door and see all the terrorism, crime and corruption from all
the Jr Sadamn Husseins running rampant.

Hmmmm. You've got a point there.
Of course, it's just not Politically Correct to observe that the MS-13
is, back in El Salvador, considered as such a terrorist organization
that there are citizen militias that will shoot on sight anyone flashing
gang signs or sporting an "MS" tattoo. Local cops are extremely
unwilling to prosecute the gangs issue, since the Alien Gangsters here
who are enough of a problem to warrant police action will be processed
for deportation if arrested, and once back in El Salvador, their deaths
are practically guaranteed because the Salvadoran citizens -- unlike the
US citizens -- know exactly what they're dealing with and won't leave it
to run wild anymore than we would leave a rabid dog to run wild. We
shoot mad dogs on sight and nobody complains about it, the Salvadorans
shoot MS-13 gangsters on sight, and nobody complains about it.
Nor, for that matter, is it politically correct to quote the common
observation of politicians in El Salvador and in neighboring countries,
"we send our workers to the USA, they send us back gangsters".
BTW, the MS-13 gangs around here have orders from "up top" giving the
"green light" for assassinations of police. Oddly enough, the local cops
don't seem worried about it. I wonder why.
