Gee. 2 Terrorists Die...Ain't That A Shame |
In an open letter to Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, the New
York-based rights, Human Rights Watch, said it had new evidence of "an
alleged murder of a detainee by four U.S. military personnel" in Afghanistan
in 2002. More recently, it said a man picked up on Sept. 24, 2004, died the
next day at an American base, but it did not specify the cause of death.
"It's time for the United States to come clean about crimes committed by
U.S. forces in Afghanistan," said Brad Adams, the group's Asia division
director. "The United States has to get serious about prosecuting people
implicated in prisoner deaths and mistreatment."..."

This is terrible. Why in the hell does the US tolerate this kind of
organization right there in 9-11 City?
In the last few days, GIs were prosecuted and sentenced for doing stuff to
these animals. So there is obviously no good reason this announcement is
coming out other than to create maximum embarrassment for the USA. I am sure
this would be of great interest had the accusations been leveled at folks
who really know how to watch human rights - go down the tubes.
How come the do-gooders and tear jerkers are always criticizing the US when
there are obvious areas of the world that really need their smug superior
attention.
