in two minutes they released the hostages." That was a reference to the
U.S. hostages released from captivity on the day of Reagan's
inauguration in 1981.

Oh man, I had to laugh like hell too. Does Rudy think anyone is naive enough
to buy that line of bull? It reminded me of when I watched him testify in
front of the 9-11 Whitewash commitee, and he said while he was rushing to
the scene he looked at his driver and said..""Thank god George W Bush is
president." When he said that, people in the gallery actually laughed
because it was so ludicrous. I dont get rudy, when he goes over the top
like that, does he think people really belive him? Rudy invoked Reagan's
name 6 times tonight. He's going to be in full burn-out by the time
primaries get here.

Ironic, but not surprising,
that Mayor "mythologized and anointed with the ashes of IX XI"
