Giuliani PAC's contributions to Democrats
Republican president candidate Rudy Giuliani's law firm, Bracewell &
Giuliani, contributed $246,000 to House and Senate candidates during
the 2006 campaign through its political action committee, including
almost $96,000 to Democratic candidates and lawmakers, according to
figures compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics. Among the
Democrats who received money were:
-- Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-San Francisco, then the Democratic minority
leader -- $5,000
-- Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Maryland, then the Democratic whip -- $2,000
-- Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-San Francisco -- $3,000
-- Rep. Gene Green, D-Texas -- $10,000
-- Sen. Ben Cardin, D-Md., then a representative running for an open
Senate seat -- $6,000
-- Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., -- $5,000
-- Rep. Doris Matsui, D-Sacramento -- $1,000
-- Rep. Jerry McNerney, D-Pleasanton, then a candidate against
incumbent Republican Richard Pombo (who received $2,500) -- $500
