'Laws of Nature and of Nature's God.....'
This can be easily argued as being an all inclusive phrase that encompasses
any and all beliefs in a system of universal design, be it out of faith or out
of reason.
'Creator', when modified by the above, does not restrict the word as being the
God of a specific scripture or any 'god' whatsoever. 'Nature' can be seen as a
creator without dependence on a god. 'God' is not restricted to One who sits
in perpetual judgment, Who is in constant control and Who only speaks through
either clerics, 'holy' books or both.
The mere fact that neither the DOI nor the US Constitution lacks definitive
restrictions on the concept of a religious belief is proof that no one has the
right to define what or who 'God' is other than to him/herself.
