Some context on Google.
At Stanford, where the page-rank algorithm AND finance capital behind
Google originated, Provost Condoleeza Rice did what Israel + US +
German big banks told her to do.
Still does, just like Google.
I once asked Larry Page, "President"/Founder of Google, in front of
several hundred young people at his yearly lecture to Stanford, "As
the leader of the most powerful information resource in the
world" (the crowd giggled, I paused for silence) "what are you doing
to make sure that moneyed interests do not dominate your search
results?"
He was stunned. Stammered for a couple minutes. Then asked, "Did that
make sense?" It did not, so I sat down.
I approached him afterwards and told him that if he wanted to create
the first, real artificial intelligence (his lifelong dream), then he
must understand that human intelligence evolved and thrived through an
ability in solving problems of human harm (obviously), and your
computer model must accomplish this goal.
He paused wide-eyed, understood, and then handed me his card.
They hired me two years later, (or to be more specific, a union-
thwarting subcontractor hired me on Google's behalf for $20/hour),
only to FIRE me 3 days into the job.
We were helping to build and test a top-secret new payment system,
code-named CBG (Certified By Google), but that principled mouth of
mine blew my best chance at corporate bourgeoisdom.
During our meeting with the credit card fraud algorithm designers, I
asked a question about how those US + German + Israel banks connect to
"our" secret little project.
The boss took me aside the next day, told me "it wasn't going to work
out", and then insisted on keeping all written notes I had taken down.
Guess I shouldn't talk about how I learned just how many $ billions
cash Google makes each year off pornography, or how my little "team"
was sifting and tracking financial transactions from "Axis of Evil"
countries.
That'd break the laws of the non-disclosure agreement they coerced me
to sign, AND the state secrets of the Wall Street CIA filth in the
Google boardroom.
Looks like a long life of poverty and imprisonment for me.
