All they have to do is establish another corporation that appears
independent from them. I'd rather have Halliburton than sly Arabs.

Perhaps Ben and Jerrys?
Hutchison and Cosco, both big port terminal operators in the US, are
wholly owned by the Chinese government. One of these will get the
business.
I feel much better now.

Me too. I'm glad the whole deal is over. Now the people and the press can
go back to focusing on the real issues.

Better get used to that. Pick your poison: a) the Chinese dump all their
dollars, bankrupting the country, or b) send 50,000,000 troops into
Alaska and take it. Either way, the overextended USA would be powerless
to do a thing about it. The Alaska thing would show how few true allies
show up for a real war.

The problem with sending 50,000,000 troops anywhere is you have to
feed them. How many ships and planes would be needed to move that many
troops? If you are going against a first world nuclear power than
massed troops are not that effective of a tool.
If China were to Bankrupt the US (as if they could) who would buy
their junk?
