"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of
the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to
drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a
parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can
always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have
to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for
lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

And anyone who makes such sweeping claims, which are totally untrue, MUST be a
Neocon!
Had you googled me BEFORE speaking--and yes, I know actually doing research
BEFORE making sweeping claims has fallen out of favor with people who back this
president--you would have seen I did serve. Was actually in when we bombed
Libya. Was lucky enough to not be involved, although the heightened security
and prep my base went through was a royal pain.
Unlike you, however, I do not be believe we honor the dead by making more of

Google you? Do you know how many people post anonymously under "NO SPAM".
Bwaaahaaahaaaa! Grow some balls, my good man, make yourself accountable
for your words. You spew generic recycled insults at people I know
personally and who don't in the slightest way resemble the descriptors that
spew from your ascii.
Unlike you, however, I do not be believe we honor the dead by making more

You obviously don't know me and what I believe. I was against this war
from the get go, for one thing. However, I don't believe you honour
anybody, much less veterans and those currently serving by posting on their
groups insulting them. By so doing, you are - I'm glad to say - in the
minority in your country of the U.S.

created killfiles.
Sorry, but I refuse to feed trolls.

Hmmm... I am betting you are a Neocon. The reason I say that is because you are
dealing with a difficult to understand problem, and your first option is to
wish the death of the problem.
But, were I to break the law as you advocate, the problem would remain that as
we enjoy this Memorial Day, more will die in this senseless, pointless, and
totally avoidable war.
Remember that as you pop back another cold one.

Actually, it is not God who is committing murder, it is the ones who have
abandoned him that do such. I know they claim to be Christians, but can you
envision, for one second, that Jesus approves of what we are doing in Iraq? And
yet the Christians keep on doing it.
Some testimony.
Jesus: Verily, I say unto thee, what good acts have you spread to my loved ones
in my name.
Bush: Well Mr. Jesus, heh, you don't mind me calling you Jesus, do ya? I mean
ya seem like a good ol' boy just like me. Say, what was your question?
Jesus: What good deeds did you do to spread my Word and the Word of my Father?
Bush: Oh yeah, heh, well lots of things. My best deed was when I went to the
local 7-11 store and the clerk was counting out change and... no wait! I mean
when I ordered the mightiest army in the world to bomb a country about 1/200th
our size. Yessir! Shock and Awe! KABOOM!
Jesus: You bombed people in my name???
Bush: Yessiree! Blew the bejuses out of them!
Jesus: In MY name???
Bush: Well of course, heh, I figured I wouldn't have been president if you
hadn't wanted me to drop bombs on people, now would I have been? Kind of some
'holy capital' if you know what I mean. See, I thought this one through! We
even got some nifty pictures of the bodies of the dead. Wanna see?
Jesus: Pictures? You mean paintings of the death ion the battlefields? No, I
think I have seen enough suffering.
Bush: No! Heh, you don't get out much do you? Heh, we got photographs of the
dead, although we make it a point not to release them. Something 'bout 'poll
numbers'. Damn liberal actually file suit to get more pictures from us and then
post images of the dead women and children, the damn bastards.
Jesus: You have killed women and children? Little ones? In MY name???
Bush: Well, hell yes, your holiness, I wouldn't kill them in my name! That
would be pretty pre-sumb-too...presumable on my part.
Jesus: You had your armies kill women and children...and you invoked my name
and the name of my Father???
Bush: Well, we didn't want to kill children. But when you think a terrorist
insurgent may be in a home, and they are threatening your plans for their
country, you gotta break some eggs.
Jesus: When you THINK a terrorist insurgent... WAITAMINUTE!!! Why aren't you
calling them soldiers???
Bush: My lawyers say as long as I don't refer to them as soldiers, some
conventioneers in Geneva won't get involved. Kind of confusing to me, but hey,
I am just a rancher. Know what I mean?
Jesus: I am starting to. Let me guess, these 'insurgents', women and children
were killed in their own country?
Bush: You know, for being omniscient, you don't watch Fox News a lot, do ya?
Take it from me, it is the best place to get news. Friend of mine named Murdoch
runs it. I give him breaks from the monopoly and FCC rules, and he spreads the
news for me. Works out great.
Jesus. I grow weary. Were these people, these children, killed in my name in
their own country when you killed them?
Bush: Well of course, they threatened us! We had to attack!
Jesus: Threatened you how?
Bush: By threatening us.
Jesus: How?
Bush: Threateningly.
Jesus: How specifically did they threaten you?
Bush: By being able to someday make weapons that they could use against us.
Jesus: They didn't have these weapons?
Bush: No.
Jesus: Were they beating their plowshares into swords?
Bush: Well, we thought so, but no.
Jesus: Then they were proclaiming rumors or war against your people?
Bush: Are you kidding? Hussein wasn't that stupid! We had already beaten his
country in a war ten years earlier. He knew not to mess with us. That's what I
always say, Don't mess with Texas. Yee-haw!
Jesus: So why did you kill the children, who I specifically ordered NO MAN
should harm?
Bush: You know Jesus--and I have to say I was always a little amazed you were
Mexican your Lordship--I don't think you understand modern war. These are
bombs. They blow things up. And when you are dropping them on civilian areas...
Jesus: CIVILIAN.... CIVILIAN AREAS? You were not fighting armies in the field?
You were raining down fire upon the dwellings of the innocents??? IN MY NAME???
Bush: Now Jesus, I don't think you understand the complications of modern war.
Heh. See if we don't kill them where we think they theoretically might be,
then...
Jesus: Please leave from my sight. I gave you ORDERS in my Father's name. I saw
war in my time. I watched the Romans put children to the sword and burn their
homes. I saw women wail over the bloody corpses of their own flesh! I told you
and all who heard my words to NEVER harm a little one. I gave clear
instructions that if someone offended thee, you were pay it no heed!
Bush: But they could have some day built up weapons...
Jesus: They had none, were building none, and were not threatening your people
with war!!! Even if they were... Did you not hear ANY of my words? I am certain
Matthew told you my laws. Remember, "Offer the wicked man no resistance. On the
contrary, if anyone hits you on the right cheek, offer him the other as well"?
Bush: No, it ain't ringing a bell. Is it from one of them Angelina Julie
movies?
Jesus: GET THEE FROM MY SIGHT!!! NOW!!! You work abominations in my name!!! You
kill women and children in MY name!!! It is the Law that any who accept me may
enter my Father's House, but you have rejected the most basic of my Laws. You
have violated the Law which my Father did give unto Moses that all should know
the Way. You have killed! Fifty camels will pass through a needle's eye before
you ever ask fro forgiveness.... GO NOW!!!
Bush: (Walking away) Damn hotheaded Mexicans, and after I offered his people
amnesty...
