Object: Has New Hampshire Forgotten About The AMNESTY BILL?
Have they forgotten that it was labeled the McCain/Kennedy Comprehensive
Immigration Reform Bill in order to hide its real purpose which was to
legalize 20 million illegal aliens?
Have you noticed how the media doesn't mention the word "amnesty" or
"illegal aliens" anymore as they concentrate on the McCain surge in New
Hampshire?

New Hampshire elected Tom Alciere, for cripes sakes.
Even if the voters there can't see through Juan McAmnasty, the rest of the
country can.
And New Hampshire, fortunately, cannot put him on the throne by themselves.

Perhaps many in New Hampshire (and in the media) see the Comprehensive
Immigration Reform Bill in a different light.
I.E., a forgivable error or a pragmatic attempt by Bush to address the issue
of 12 million plus illegal immigrants rather than confronting the burdensome
task of deporting them all.
Of course not alienating the Hispanic voters and supporting businesses
relying on the cheap labor were probably factors as well.
Many continue to criticize Bush and McCain for being out of step with many
in the GOP regarding amnesty, or its euphemistic designation "a path to
citizenship".
But at least the two of them cannot be accused of 'political expediency' by
taking the more popular stance against amnesty of any form.
Of course the same can be said about McCain when it comes to his persistent
support for the Iraq war as well as the surge. I don't happen to agree, but
many consider him to be principled and not a flip-flopper for political
expediency.
Many years ago I used to live in Arizona. Trust me he hasn't always been
that principled. Now he is trying to win as an establishment candidate
rather than a maverick. I just don't see him beating Romney in NH. Perhaps
the debate(s) will be the deciding factor. I'll be watching.
