Apparently someone made this video for a campaign ad, but
Republicans thought it was a bit much. They're probably right,

1) Thanks for the link. The video had funny elements (lil'Kim playing
basketball), except for the idiotic voice over.
2) I sure wish Republicans would run that ad. More examples of Republicans
blaming other people when they fail - that's the ticket!
BTW, do you hang out with people who blame all their failures on others?
Isn't that the definition of a LOSER? I guess it makes you feel better about
yourself if you surround yourself with failures, eh?

Maybe they should try the Dem plan - tell everyone they have a

Tony Snow is a WH spokesman, so I see no relation between anything he says
and the "truth". In fact, wasn't it a company where Rumsfeld was on the
board of directors that sold nuclear reactors to N. Korea?
If you really want to through a point by point disection of the "funny"
video, I'm game, but I don't think you'll like the results. Overall the
video is trying to say Clinton was weak and appeasing towards "America's
Enemies" - this thesis is absurd.
The Serb forces were driven out of Kosovo and the Serb leadership is dead or
in jail.
Clinton bombed Saddam repeatedly and probably destroyed what ever was left
of his WMDs.
Of course Clinton came closer to killing Osama than the current
administration (which didn't think terrorism would be a problem).
The idea that Clinton thought we should appease terrorists like Osama is so
absurd that making the claim is funnier than the depiction of the fiction.
Face it - your video has almost no basis in truth - hence I'd love if it
Republicans tried to run with it. It'd be another demonstration of
Republicans failing and blaming others for their failure.
BTW, WTF excuse are you going to use when the Republicans lose the House in
November? How will that not be the fault of Republicans?
But to add to your point, great
humor is derived from truth (well, pretty much all humor,

Nope - and I tend to avoid calling other people's names. I consider a sound
argument more interesting that tossing around nitwit terms like "goofball".
Personally, I find both
those guys funny, with Stewart leading the way. He pisses me off
sometimes with his farleft views, but he's possibly the funniest

If Miller was funny he wouldn't need Foxnews to get a gig.

No, I said the Democrats SAY they have plans. Pay attention.
I think that many Democrats have plans, but there is no "unified Democratic
plan".
Of course there is no "Republican Plan" because the Republicans have no
goals outside of cutting taxes and winning elections. Heck, there's no goal
for the war in Iraq, there's no goal in the "war on terror", let alone any
plans.
I mean, aside from blaming

I don't know. Do you want me to look it up for you? You DO
know that the government itself doesn't HAVE nuclear reactors for
sale, so if a company DID sell them to N.Korea, it was at the
bidding and blessings of the Clinton administration?

Not that anal, thanks. I just thought it was humorous. I

Yeah, sure it is. And now we'll hear once agtain the revised
history of the Clinton war machine.
Let's all say it together!
"Once Upon a Time.."
The Serb forces were driven out of Kosovo and the Serb
leadership is dead or in jail.
Clinton bombed Saddam repeatedly and probably destroyed what

I see you've already forgotten Kerry's campaign, which
consisted of one 'plan' after another for all the world's ills,
that he wouldn't elaborate on until after he won the election.
Presumably that means he'll take them to his grave because, as a
Senator, he feels no responsibility to solve the world's problems
anymore.
Or - and I'm going waaaay out on a limb here - he never had
any real plans at all and was just lying to win an election.

I have to admit it's encouraging to see the best the Left has to

that's what you mean.
Democrats haven't been loosing for the 'past decade or so'. If they
had, then the road to 9/11 and the North Korea nuclear threat would be
all the Republicans fault as they (by your suggestion) have been the
ones in power or 'Winning for the past decade or so'. Unless the
events were caused entirely by the folks in charge 11+ years ago and
our enemies figured they'd give us a free decade just to be fair about
things your statement makes no sense.
I'm getting a little sick of hearing some of the more zealous right
wingers blame past Democratic administrations for the problems we are
still having 6 years into having a Republican president. It used to be
'If we were in charge, things would be different'. Now it's, 'Well of
course things aren't different. We're dealing with all the screw ups
from the Democrats'. For the past two years you had the presidency and
the congress. If your party is the end all solution - what the hell
happened?
This is why I think our party system sucks. Actually fixing problems
take a back seat to trying to one up the opposing party. If I had to
assign myself a party it would probably be Democrat, but that doesn't
make me ignorant enough to say ALL Republicans are bad, evil, dumb,
fill in the blank. Granted, I would say I oppose Bush as a president,
but I don't oppose all Republicans on the grounds that he is one. So
what's your problem? If you didn't like Clinton - say you didn't like
Clinton and leave the rest of us out of it.

I know what you mean. I am also sick of hearing Dems blame

laughable - or it should be - to blame any one administration for
strife in the middle east that has been going on for longer than
I can count.

Things ARE different. If someone told you they'd be perfect

presidency and the congress. If your party is the end all
solution - what the hell happened?
Again, I don't know anyone who said the Republican party was
the end all solution.
This is why I think our party system sucks.
It's one reason. I don't know of a better system, tho.
Actually fixing
problems take a back seat to trying to one up the opposing
party. If I had to assign myself a party it would probably
be Democrat, but that doesn't make me ignorant enough to say
ALL Republicans are bad, evil, dumb, fill in the blank.
I was referring to the Left on this newsgroup, not the entire
party, which, incidentally, has never impressed me. And I was
responding to the other poster's blanket statements. If you want
to have a mature discussion about the shortcomings of the parties
or the party system, you probabaly shouldn't jump in the middle
of a thread that has already degenerated into chaos.
Granted, I would say I oppose Bush as a president, but I
don't oppose all Republicans on the grounds that he is one.
I'm not crazy about Bush either, but considering the
alternatives available at the time, he was the best choice.
So what's your problem? If you didn't like Clinton - say
you didn't like Clinton and leave the rest of us out of it.
Clinton is old news, unless you mean Hillary. I don't like her
and I still can't believe so many people couldn't see that he was
a self-absorbed hedonist and a pathological liar.
But that has nothing to do with my opinion of others in the
party now.

I have to admit it's encouraging to see the best the
Left has to offer is nothing but smug and clueless assholes. But I
don't think that's what you mean.
Democrats haven't been loosing for the 'past decade or so'. If they
had, then the road to 9/11 and the North Korea
nuclear threat would be all the Republicans fault as they
(by your suggestion) have been the ones in power or 'Winning
for the past decade or so'.
Why isn't Kim Jong-il to blame. Why isn't Osama bin Laden to blame?
Unless the events were caused
entirely by the folks in charge 11+ years ago and our
enemies figured they'd give us a free decade just to be fair
about things your statement makes no sense.
I'm not getting much out of yours either.
I'm getting a little sick of hearing some of the more
zealous right wingers blame past Democratic administrations
for the problems we are still having 6 years into having a
Republican president.
I know what you mean. I am also sick of hearing Dems blame this
administration for every drop of rain that falls. It's laughable - or
it should be - to blame any one administration for strife in the middle
east that has been going on for longer than I can count.
It used to be 'If we were in charge,
things would be different'.
Things ARE different. If someone told you they'd be perfect they
were lying or deluded.
Now it's, 'Well of course
things aren't different. We're dealing with all the screw
ups from the Democrats'.
That's what you're hearing? I hear "This is all Bush's fault" and in
defense, "It's not like the Dems had or have any plans to solve the
problems."
For the past two years you had the

are zealous left wing posters too - but the difference is they're
right.* ;)

Wow, the fact that you think that was funny in anyway proves that you are a
complete and total moron. Bush has ignored North Korea for 6 years, what's
his excuse? No Michael Jordan basketballs in the defense budget?
