eh?) and the video was laced with lies. That's why Jon
Stewart's humor is funny and Dennis Miller isn't funny.

Or maybe it's because you're a partisan goofball who can only
see humor when it's directed at others. Personally, I find both
those guys funny, with Stewart leading the way. He pisses me off
sometimes with his farleft views, but he's possibly the funniest
guy on cable.

2) I sure wish Republicans would run that ad. More
examples of Republicans blaming other people when they
fail - that's the ticket!

Maybe they should try the Dem plan - tell everyone they
have a plan but never tell anyone what it is.

administration for every drop of rain that falls. It's laughable - or
it should be - to blame any one administration for strife in the middle
east that has been going on for longer than I can count.

Things ARE different. If someone told you they'd be perfect they

For the past two years you had the
presidency and the congress. If your party is the end all

Actually fixing
problems take a back seat to trying to one up the opposing
party. If I had to assign myself a party it would probably
be Democrat, but that doesn't make me ignorant enough to say
ALL Republicans are bad, evil, dumb, fill in the blank.

I was referring to the Left on this newsgroup, not the entire party,
which, incidentally, has never impressed me. And I was responding to
the other poster's blanket statements. If you want to have a mature
discussion about the shortcomings of the parties or the party system,
you probabaly shouldn't jump in the middle of a thread that has already
degenerated into chaos.

Granted, I would say I oppose Bush as a president, but I
don't oppose all Republicans on the grounds that he is one.

I'm not crazy about Bush either, but considering the alternatives
available at the time, he was the best choice.

So what's your problem? If you didn't like Clinton - say
you didn't like Clinton and leave the rest of us out of it.

Clinton is old news, unless you mean Hillary. I don't like her and I
still can't believe so many people couldn't see that he was a
self-absorbed hedonist and a pathological liar.

But that has nothing to do with my opinion of others in the party now.
