If you wanted to create a scenario in which gas prices increased, what
would it be? First, you'd go to war in the Middle East. That always
causes gas and oil prices to soar. Then you destroy the infrastructure
of the one of the largest oil producing countries in the world (Iraq has
the 3rd largest known reserves). If you can do this for years, you can
get prices to soar.
Bush has mastered one thing and only one thing. He knows how to keep gas
prices high for "years."
