HIGH OIL PRICES CAUSED MAINLY BY BUSH'S IDIOT WAR IN IRAQ
If we had kept on flooding Iraq with inspectors, and monitoring Saddam
at every turn, oil production would have have continued, with Iraq
returning to its pre-sanctions levels of production. Everything was
stable. Everything was under control. The Shiites were well contained,
the terrorists were elsewhere. No bombings, no dead Iraqis. No weapons
of mass destruction, except in Saddam's mind. But he could not produce
them because of the inspectors, who could have stayed forever. Happily.
But NO! Bush and the neo-cons had to start a big war for no good
reason. A war of naked aggression, sold to the American public by a
deliberate policy of lies and deception. Misleading both the people and
their elected officials.
And now what do we have? Total chaos! Blood and bombs everywhere. Dead
and maimed Americans, dead and maimed Iraqis. Fear and uncertainty
everywhere. And no oil production. The inevitable result?
HIGH OIL PRICES! Never been higher!
Thank you so much, George W. Bush. May you return to Texas after the
election. Forever.
