Interestingly, news reports say that the girl whose question prompted
the waterworks instead voted for Obama. Exit polling is saying that
voters didn't change their minds after she had her meltdown. Obama
got the same voters he would have otherwise, it was that more of
Hillary's voters showed up at the polls than the pollsters expected
and it wasn't the tears that made them rush down to the polls in
larger than expected numbers. Her people pulled out all the stops to
get them to show up.
- Which, incidently, probably means she's burning through her money
faster than she'd like to at this point, it could mean trouble
repeating this performance in the remaining primaries, and most
certainly it spells trouble in the general election if she wins the
nomination. Hillary has raised an enormous amount of money but word
is she's already *spent* most of it. She has to decisively beat Obama
in the next couple of contests or she risks the money wells drying up.

The woman who asked the question felt it was a genuine response and
then went out and voted for Obama. The reason that women voted in
droves for Hillary came out because they were pissed at Obama and
Edwards for the piling on at the debate. They were pissed at all the
white male talking heads who were putting a premature silver spike in
Hillary's candidacy.
I hate to say this but I believe that the Bradley Effect occurred in
NH - it was impossible in iowa.
