aliens, go over to your county welfare office if your area has many
illegals. If your county is like mine - no more than 8% Hispanic -
you'll find that most lobby posters and leaflets are in Spanish and not

Being like Singapore or Hong Kong is bad? Been to Philadelphia or

I was thinking in terms of over-population and over-crowding rather than
commenting on the ethnicity or demographics of those city-states. I used
to live in Yokohama and always considered it a blessing to live in the U.S.
where we had a lower population and more open space. Obviously I am in the
minority to value the benefits of a lower population than, say, China or
India.

I have been observing the issue for about a year now. There are several
API posters who have their own internally rationalized reason to
believe they -or a close relative- are not 100% Americans, and try to
overcompensate. Then there is the ones bent on revenge (Don Gabacho and
Gringo Girl).
This group could be used in a very interesting psychiatric profile
study.
In my first 3 or 4 postings I introduced that topic. A year later, I am
more and more convinced that what you suggest is true.
Any psychiatrist/psychologist trying to find a research topic, should
look into API. It's fascinating.
