My experience is that few people want the job or have the time to be
president of homeowners or civic associations. Often, then, the job
goes to an ***** like this who seeks power in his little corner of
the world. The fuckweed is usually tolerated, but not respected.
At some point he reverts, like all children, to kicking and screaming
when he does not get his way.

The question I have is are other association members putting up decorations
without the peace symbol and are they being required to take them down?
If they arn't, that would be selective enforcement and would neve stand
up in court.

This wreath is more than a "decoration", it is a well-known *political sign*
and is hung in a common area on the "structure" itself, not on an owners door
or in a unit's window which may also be a big violation difference depending
on how the CC&R's are written therefore held up by the law too...other owners
are well within their rights to complain about divisive and offensive
activity in direct violation. The Association will prevail without
question...
