I thought The Represenatives in the House were working for the People?
Evidently they are not concerned about being reelected.

They're not concerned because they know you have no choice. If you, like me,
prefer a small, frugal, efficient, non-intrusive, non-secretive government,
what realistic choices do we have? Whom to vote for? Well, we could vote for
Libertarian Party ( www.lp.org ), but due to Federal Election Campaign
financing regulations (which in essence says "first become mighty popular,
then we'll give you money, so you can become popular), they have no
realistic chances. So, we only can vote for the Demopublicans, that's it.

Round about here we only have Repugnicrats.
Here in PA the Libertarian, Green, Constitution, etc. parties need to have
67,000 signatures on their nominating petitions for statewide office.
The Repugnicrats need only 2,000. Some of them said they would get 67,000
but none did.

This is happening cause California puts zillions of labels on
everything without any rhyme or reason.

Yep!
And since CA has a LOT of folks many producers/packagers will just include
the CA requirements on all their production that might (just might) end up
being shipped to CA.
Frankly, I believe that CA should be permitted to do wht it wants.
The legislation (if it's what I think it is) will let the silly politicians
in CA pass their silly requirements with the full knowledge it will never
actually have any effect.
The best way to get rid of a bad law is to ENFORCE it.

I wish a long eternity in hell for the legislators who voted to stick
labels on apples and pears.. Why aren't there stickers on grapes too?
That would make as much sense.
