Object: How Exxon-Mobil Robbed America
Throughout the year, Americans paid high gas prices and were told that
it had to be that way. We were told that gas, itself, was too high
priced to lower the prices on the consumer. Despite seeing lowering
and lowering oil prices, the gas prices remained high. You all know,
you were there.
Now, we find that Exxon Mobil posted record profits for the time
period. They deceived and robbed America. How could this happen?
I found the answer today researching their past political
contributions. They gave money to BOTH the GOP and the Democrats in
large campaign year contributions. Both Kerry and Bush got huge checks
from members of their organization. So, which party would have the
strength of will to stand up to them and do something about it?
Apparently neither.
This is a major failure of our political system...the influence of
political dollars. My prediction? I predicte that neither the GOP nor
the DNC, President nor Congress will investigate this financial rape of
the American people.

Robbed?
They have it. You want it.
Take it or leave it.

The problem is not lack of oil but lack of refineries. Every capable
gas refinery in the country is going at near, or over, 100% capacity.
ANYTIME that you can run continuously at capacity you are going to make
record profits.
Unfortunately, all the refineries do not produce enough gas to supply
the current need. Thus, supply vs. demand results in higher prices
(still considerably lower than the UK is paying).
You want lower gas prices? Demand more refineries (oh, and *****-slap
the next tree hugger you see, as it's his fault none have been built in
30+ years).
More refineries would mean more gas available would mean lower prices.
Of course, you always have the option of not participating.

Would now be a good time to send Exxon that bill from the US Military
for pritecting its shipping lanes. Kinda, a 'security fee'.
Likewise to the rest of the world that keeps telling us to stop
complaining, that they have been paying high prices forever.
Please remit to: US Taxpayer. (Thank you)
