Object: Huckabee Leads...polls and such
Some news...
1. Huckabee is leading in Iowa, South Carolina, and Oklahoma (see #2
below). He is only 1 percent (by average of polls) behind in Michigan
(a blue collar state). He is only 2 percent behind in Florida. He is
only 3 percent behind in the national polls average.
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/republican_primaries.html
2. A Tulsa World poll reported by Fox News says Huckabee leads the
Republicans in Oklahoma, scoring 12 percent higher than his nearest
competitor (the poll has him beating Clinton, there, too).
http://www.foxnews.com/wires/2007Dec26/0,4670,Poll2008Oklahoma,00.html
3. Now, Oklahoma is part of the Feb 5th states for primaries. This
is a big point. Democrats have relied upon New Hampshire, since IT IS
A DEMOCRAT STATE representing the average of THEIR party....who would
win THEIR nomination. Yet, in the upcoming month, there are very few
indicators of GOP votes. Consider...
-In 2004, Iowa voted strongly for Bush...Huckabee leads there now.
-In 2004, South Carolina voted strongly for Bush...Huckabee leads
there now.
-In 2004, New Hampshire (where others lead) went solidly Democrat.
This would indicate a trend toward Huckabee in the minds of
Republicans, which is what primaries are all about. Huckabee is even
closing the gap (only 2 percent behind) to take Florida, which barely
went GOP and Michigan (1 percent) which went Democrat (indicating
crossover appeal to blue collar Michigan Republicans.
So, while other candidates may get the endorsement of liberal
newspapers and Democrat states, Huckabee is winning where it
counts...the heart of the Republican party.

A few more polls I just saw confirming my contention that Huckabee is
winning GOP states....
Huck leads in Georgia...
http://www.insideradvantagegeorgia.com/restricted/2007/December%202007/12-27-07/Charles_Bullock122719631.php
....and North Carolina...

....and Arkansas, which also showed him tied with Hillary.
