Huckabee Takes Nation by Storm, Part II |
The National polls are, as I predicted, swinging around to support
Mike Huckabee. After last week being a second place runner
(nationally) behind by only 2.5 percent, Huck is only1.5 percent
behind the GOP leader.

Two of the national polls (Rasmussen and Battleground) have him in the
lead, already, while the ARG poll has him tied with the leader. Even
the Reuters/Zogby poll puts Huckabee at only 1 percent behind the
leader. The trend is still upward, despite all the media onslaught
this week.
Other news:
-In about two weeks, Huckabee rose in the Florida Quinnipiac poll from
being 19 percent behind the leader to being only 7 percent behind the
leader (trend upward). During the same time, he rose in the SurveyUSA
poll from being 14 percent behind the leader to being only 5 percent
behind the leader. Huck will win Florida, soon, at this rate.
-in a poll ending on December 17th (WSJ/NBC) of Clinton versus

for being so religious, and I was showing that some of the largest

religious zealots. Neither of them believed that married women should
"submit graciously" to their husbands and be subservient to them.
Neither of them objected to the constitutional separation of church
and state.

I have already referred to one quote by JFK saying, officially as
President, that the rights of man come from God. I, also, referred to
FDR using his position as President to tell citizens to pray. Indeed,
that quote is almost more religious than Bush. He not only spoke
about prayer, he PRAYED for and with the citizens (gasp...something
even teachers cannot do) and in the joined prayer asked for God to
give faith to the citizens in Himself.
D-Day Prayer - 1945

that quote is almost more religious than Bush. =A0He not only spoke

Two of the national polls (Rasmussen and Battleground) have =

I'm a Democrat and I'm religious. Neither JFK nor FDR were right-wing
religious zealots. Neither of them believed that married women should
"submit graciously" to their husbands and be subservient to them.
Neither of them objected to the constitutional separation of church
and state.
I have already referred to one quote by JFK saying, officially as
President, that the rights of man come from God. I, also, referred to
FDR using his position as President to tell citizens to pray. Indeed,
that quote is almost more religious than Bush. He not only spoke
about prayer, he PRAYED for and with the citizens (gasp...something
even teachers cannot do) and in the joined prayer asked for God to
give faith to the citizens in Himself.
D-Day Prayer - 1945

So, you have no problem with a government official speaking (in an
official capacity) about God and religion, praying with others, and
leading them in prayer...right (even as a support for a war)? Then, I
guess you have no problem with Bush's religious speech or teachers
praying in the classroom.
