You left out some important points -

Expedition.
"I'm 6 feet 4 inches and I weigh 250 pounds, so for me, it's a comfort
thing," he said. "It's a comfortable and convenient vehicle. I have a
son who is 4 and a daughter who is 16, and we use the SUV to haul kids
around, take them to parties. We use it to go to the mountains and we
pull a water-skiing boat behind it."
So the guy actually drives a more fuel efficient vehicle on a daily
basis and uses the SUV when he needs more room, or needs to tow a
boat.
I used to own an Expedition, and I averaged around 15 mpg, it weighed
less than 6000lb and although it is three feet longer than some
sedans, it is not three feet longer than "all" sedans (for instance,
an Expedition is 8 inches long than an LS460 and only 1 inch longer
than an S Class Mercedes). Plus there are "sedans" that get the same
sort of horrible mileage. Why not mention those?

the best mileage when I'm not sitting still at a stop signal. For that
reason, I circumvent LLBers so that I don't have to sit still at the
traffic signal, thereby saving gas. No doubt the minor amount of gas I
save is tremendously small compared to the number of dullards sitting
at the last intersection with their engines needlessly idling.
But hey, it's the least I can do to conserve fuel. How about you? Had
your car tuned up lately? ROTFLMAO.

AFAIK, no car manufacturer has created a faux-leather seat that looks
and feels like leather, but doesn't get too hot or too cold.
If it's REALLY hot outside, I don't blame my seats for not being cold.
If it's REALLY cold outside, I don't blame my seats for not being warm.
