Not really.
We followed the rule of law to the letter. We negotiated. We inspected.
We passed UN Resolution after UN Resolution. We negotiated more.
And then we kicked their *****.

Not really.

We followed the rule of law to the letter.

That is a lie.

We negotiated. We inspected.

In fact, UN inspectors were on the ground in Iraq, doing their job,
bulldozing Samoud missiles, when Bush let slip that the US was going to
invade Iraq illegally -- AFTER a legally-required UN Security council
vote that never happened -- no matter the outcome of that Security
Council vote.
From <http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2003/03/02/wirq02.xml>
Iraq began decommissioning its arsenal of banned al-Samoud 2
missiles last night as ministers disclosed to The Telegraph that
America and Britain are prepared to launch military action
immediately after the United Nations Security Council votes on a
second resolution, regardless of its outcome.
George Bush's War of Choice on Iraq was a criminal act from the beginning.

And then we kicked their *****.

For some very small value of "their".
Our ***** is in a global sling as a result of Bush's criminal War of
Choice on Iraq.
The only hope of getting our ***** out of Iraq intact is to replace the
Criminal in Chief. John Kerry doesn't bear the international taint
that Bush bears, and may, just may, be able to negotiate us out of this
mess.
At this point, Kerry is our last hope.
--
George Bush's War of Choice on Iraq is a totally unnecessary war.
Every life lost, every limb lost, every disfigurement, every
disability caused there is more blood on George W. Bush's hands,
and on the hands of everyone who votes for George W. Bush.

The UN charter is, as is every other duly signed and Senate-confirmed
international treaty, the law of the land, per the US Constitution.

Iraq was ALREADY in violation of 19 Resolutions.

Cite a single UN Security Council resolution passed after 1991 that
specifially authorized the US to invade Iraq.
Without such an authorizing resolution (the reason the second UN vote
was required, and why Bush promised to obtain such a vote before
Congress would pass the Joint Resolution Bush used as cover for the
invasion), the US was in violation of the UN charter which prohibits
invasion of nations who did not attack us.

I never claimed there was one. Instead the last Resolution permitted the US
to disarm Iraq, by force if necessary.

Without such an authorizing resolution (the reason the second UN vote
was required, and why Bush promised to obtain such a vote before
Congress would pass the Joint Resolution Bush used as cover for the
invasion), the US was in violation of the UN charter which prohibits

I'm taking LAW, not Charter. International Law. We are not in violation of
any international law.
The UN Security Council FAILED to hold a second vote. That isn't Bush's
responsibility.
The initial Resolution provided for enforcement of previous Resolutions and
DID NOT prohibit the use of force.
End of story.

Christ all-fucking-mighty. It's too bad we can't just ship this

someone who actually deserves to be an American citizen.
Since you apparently failed fifth grade civics, here's the relevant

"This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be
