I’m a Dec 11th, 2000 American, Senator Kerry

As you know there is a label to describe which type of American you
are. One is a September 10th, 2001 American and the other is a,
September 11th, 2001 American. Well today, I want to send a special
message to Senator John F. Kerry that this American considers herself to
be a December 11th, 2000 American. That is because on that date,
America was still America and where our country was not handed over to a
tyrant in George W. Bush the day after. But, when so many have spoken
out on that issue, your statement was this, “Stop crying in your
teacups," where you told an audience to basically "Get over it!"
Well, Senator Kerry many who lost lives in this war that you voted for
need buckets to cry into since a teacup is too small. You recently
attacked Governor Dean yesterday on foreign policy and taxes. What a
low
blow coming from a man who for the first two years of this Bush regime
stayed mute. You also were mute when our country was handed over to
these neocons. I would like to know why, Senator Kerry and so would
many others out here. While you did not vote for the first round of
Bush tax cuts, you could have used your political muscle to insure that
the rest of the Democrats did not fall in line with this regime. But,
first, you and your fellow elected officials in our party could have
screamed your heads off as our country was being handed over. Again,
you remained mute. When the Congressional Black Caucus walked out of
the certification of electoral votes, where were you and your fellow
colleagues? Quite frankly, I would have loved to have seen all of you
storm the Supreme Court when that Bush V Gore decision was being handed
down. You could have stood up for our Constitution and the American
people.
After our reserves were stripped of their precious resources, an attack
upon our nation occurred. That event was September 11th, 2001. Where
was your voice and the voice of countless others demanding to know what
happened? Yes, we all pulled together but as reports were leaked out
that this president was warned, you did nothing.
Then you stood by and signed the U.S.A. Patriot Act and so did everyone
else with the exception of Senator Russell Feingold.
When it came to the Iraq War Resolution you again sided with this
president, while some like Governor Dean spoke out against it. Now as
we know, this war was based upon lies. Even Sec. Colin Powell stated
that Iraq had no WMD yesterday. Governor Dean was correct in doing so
and
was a true patriot for doing so. There were millions protesting all
over this world and you did not listen. I was one of them, Senator
Kerry.
So, while you point a finger of blame our use an accusatory tone in
blasting Governor Dean on foreign policy and taxes as you just did
yesterday, let it be known that many such as me are paying attention,
Senator Kerry. While this president has flushed the credibility,
integrity, and a high moral purpose down the drain, for the first two
years until you started to think of your own agenda to run for
president, you stayed mute.
We who watched our country being stolen right out from underneath us
shall never forget. While you stated in one debate in Iowa that if you
should get the nomination, you will have in place at the polls a legal
team to watch out for anything illegal, in my opinion that is a day late
and a dollar short.
In closing, Senator Kerry many like me want our country back.
