Probably my last posting because everytime I post an anti Bush post on an
American newsgroup, I get banned from that newgroup by Bush hacks.
Now that it is publicly admitted that Iraq did not have WMD's and the war in
Iraq was illegal, now that it is reported by Italian journalists that US
used white phosphorus to burn civilians to death in Fallujah, hundreds of
thousands of civilians including women and children, (US journalists and
news media is either too controlled or too afraid to print the real news)
why is Bush still in office?
Are the American people totally asleep? How can they be so oblivious to the
atrocities committed by the Bush regime?

Good question. The answer is that in a democracy, the votes of idiots count
the same as those of their betters. The basis of the problem is our current
2-party system, which represents the most corrupt political machine in
history. If congress was made up of honest third-party candidates of ANY
stripe, there would be no lining up on party lines. For the record, I
believe that Clinton DESERVED to be impeached, and should have been
convicted. He committed a felony (perjury) while in office, not to mention
the fact that he was screwing around while on the public payroll. This is
neither conservative or liberal -- it's just a matter of facing the facts.
By the same token, Bush deserves to be impeached and executed for war
crimes. Unfortunately, the average American mentality goes no further than
chanting catchy slogans, and voting a party line. Thinking, and
understanding the issues is beyond the ability of a large segment of the
population, and hence, the 'Republicrats' remain in power, and the only
interests served are those of the big businesses who own our so-called
representatives.

The people that are being targeted by US and Allies forces in Iraq are vile,
despicable terrorists.
They are the ones spilling most of the blood of Iraqi civilians,
mass-murdering in markets, mosques, anywhere.
Fallujah was cleared as best as possible of civilians before the US launched
their offensive.
Fair warning was given, unlike the suicidal Sunni Muslim wackos who
slaughter Shia with abandon.
You really ought to not support the suicidal religious maniacs who don't
give a damn about the Iraqi people, and only want the return of a Sunni
totalitarian regime to rule the people of Iraq with a bloodied sword.
The "real news" is that it's war, and it's nasty, but the people shooting at
US and coalition forces have only their own tribal interests in mind, and
care only about reamassing power and using it as brutally as Sadaam did.
There are two sides fighting each other, and it is unfortunate that
civilians get caught in the middle, as in any war, but in favoring the
"insurgents" like Zarquawi (a Jordanian) and his heinous batch of Jihadist
murderers, you are choosing the wrong side, if you give a damn about the
people of Iraq.
