Why are American taxpayers being asked to pony up (another) two
billion dollars to pay for Israel's withdrawal from the Gaza Strip ?
Did they ask for our opinion before going in ? Did they ask our
opinion before moving out ? What possible concern or responsibility is
it of ours if this rich, powerful, successful and dynamic nation (we
are told) decides to make a change in its policies ? And at a time when
America's finances are perilously over stretched ?
