Object: impertinent Question # 118
Why does our president TALK about guarding our borders against
illegal immigrants while pushing mightily for amnesty/guest worker
programs that can only attract ever LARGER numbers of illegals to our
country ? Is it because the integrity of our borders means NOTHING
when compared to the billions in campaign contributions paid every year
by the large agri-business interests who demand cheap foreign labor
from Mexico ?

Doug Says: Bill, do you have some proof of the alleged "campaign
contributions" to the GOP from US Agriculture? The last I read
the large cooperative farms were all Democrats?
Moreover, sending our troops to our border to use lethal force to
stop Momacita and her three babies from crossing our border to
find a better life is just plain nuts - Bill O'Reilly be damned.
The southern Border issue can only be solved by a guest worker
program backed by civilian type border patrol police officers.
We can beef up our Border Patrol, and change some laws to make it
harder for deportees to return, such as making a second return
after deportation a Federal Criminal act, which would mean time
in a Federal Prison. Or, we could offer citizenship to any
illegal alien that will join our military for a period of four
years and serve honorably - that military service proposal would
also solve many other problems as well.
But we simply cannot seal our borders with the threat of lethal
force and then watch the entire country of Mexico fall into civil
war - which it will do without the billions of dollars being sent
back to Mexico by the illegals.
It is a complicated problem Billy - President Bush is moving in
the right direction.

Why are you pretending that US corporate/business interests are not
involved in pushing for open borders and cheap labor from Mexico ? Why do
you pretend that US corporate and business interests are not funding the
GOP amnesty/guest worker efforts? Are these simply more of the kind of
lies that made you claim we won the Vietnam war and that Saigon is not now
called Ho Chi Minh City ? Are they part of the delusions which made you
claim the existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq ? Your integrity
has been so seriously damaged Von Reiman, that I'm amazed you have the gall
to show up. We were all ready to draw a merciful curtain of silence around
your nonsense, and forget your embarrassing remarks. Now you go and step
in it all over again ! Have you NO shame whatever ?
