Object: Impertinent Question # 126
News Item. American and Iraqi troops attack border town to prevent Syrian
guerillas from entering Iraq.
If you were a Syrian guerilla would you march in force up to an Iraqi
border town and cross where you could be clearly seen, attacked and
destroyed ? Or - would you cross at some isolated spot, in the dark of
night, in groups of three or four, and wend your way to a rendezvous point
deep inside Iraq ? Is this American attack really going to accomplish
anything or is it merely another "feel good" operation giving the
appearance of ACTIVITY in hopes that the American people will confuse
activity with progress - and motion with direction ?

Doug Says: Billy, Syria and Iran are both funding, arming,
training and exporting terrorists throughout the world. Arriving
on their borders with coalition troops sends them the right
message and will help in stopping large scale movements of
terrorists into Iraq. These terrorist interlopers were coming
across the Syrian and Iranian borders in buses and trucks. Now
due to our offensive, if they sneak across the mountains they
will be required to do so in at least small numbers and they will
not be able to carry the munitions they were carrying when then
were crossing en mass. Of course this operation is needed, and
it will be successful like all the others before it.
It is obvious enemy propagandists are clearly desperate to find
something to pin on President Bush when all we really see is
nothing but successes coming from the Bush Administration - such
as converting four previous enemies (Iraq, Lybia, North Korea and
Afghanistan) into allies, forcing the removal of Syrian troops
from Lebanon, and the isolation by the UN and by our European
allies of Syria and Iran. And all this has been accomplished by
the Bush administration with less casualties than the Dim-SLA
politicians lost in a single week when they were running the
Vietnam war. I believe President Bush's successes (so far) will
go down in history as being the most successful military campaign
in the history of the United States. I can think of nothing else
in our history of warfare that accomplished so much with so
little cost in American Solider lives. (If anyone can present a
better historical success story I would love to hear about it. If
the enemy propagandists say our war on terror is a military
"quagmire" I certainly look
forward to many more "quagmires" in the future).

And your proof for this is ???
Arriving on their borders with coalition troops sends them the right

message

Wouldn't it be great if we could find a way out of the mid east cesspool by
sending the right message?
- such as converting four previous enemies (Iraq, Lybia, North Korea and

Afghanistan) into allies,

Do you believe in the tooth fairy, von Reiman. ? That probably explains why
you believe Nrth Korea is an ally of the US.
(If anyone can present a better historical success story I would love to

There is one thing better by FAR than a military "success story". That is
avoiding a war, resolving issues without slaughter, and settling disputes
peacefully.
If the enemy propagandists say our war on terror is a military

"quagmire" I certainly look forward to many more "quagmires" in the

future).
Of course you do. A never ending American military involvement in the
middle east has been the basic goal of the Perlowitz neo- cons for years.
As long as they and their Israeli friends don't have to do the bleeding and
the dying.

In our last episode,
<O5mdnWivN-NbE_PeRVn-ow@comcast.com>,
the lovely and talented DGVREIMAN
broadcast on alt.politics:

Doug Says: Billy, Syria and Iran are both funding, arming,
training and exporting terrorists throughout the world.

Curious that you left out Saudi Arabi, where the few real
terrorists actual come from. Of course they are Bush's
buddies who had Daddy Bush's Carlyle Group on the payroll
on 9-11.
You aren't opposed to terrorism. You are just lying for
Bush.
The jug is up. The chickens are coming home to roost.
Time for you to pack it in.

it's another feel good operation.
every notice how they give all of this horseshiot operation names? I thought
it was just called the iraq pack of lies, er I mean the iraq war.
Instead it's operation nighthawk, operation bushlies, operation
nightstealth, operation forerunner, what the fucking hell with all of these
"operations", it's a fucking war, you want to really call it waht it is, you
call it operation crockofshit, that would at least be an appropriate name.
