The Washington Post web page has full coverage of Murtha's news
conference and it's well worth reading. At the question and answer
phase the following exchange took place:
Mr. Murtha, you say that -- your first point about bringing them home,
consistent with the safety of U.S. forces. You know about these
matters. What is your sense as to how long that would be?
MURTHA: I think that you get them out of there in six months. I think
that we could do it -- you have to do it in a very consistent way, but
I think six months would be a reasonable time to get them out of there.

espionage. How can Murtha be concerned with the "safety of our
troops" when he is busy giving the enemy our attack and withdraw

If Murtha was really sincere he would have presented his plans
secretly to the Bush administration or at least to Secretary
Rumsfield. But instead he decided to publicly announce his
demand that we withdraw our troops in six months. That public
proclamation provided immeasurable aid and comfort, and direct
military intelligence to our enemy - which no doubt will result
in many more murders of our troops and civilians in Iraq than
normal.
And this guy Murtha says he is on the side of our troops? Sure
he is. Just like Hanoi John Kerry was during the Vietnam war.
No wonder the North Vietnamese have a photograph of Hanoi John
Kerry hanging in their war museum. I wonder if Plague Radical

military service in Vietnam etc. It then compares those claims with what
your actual military records portray. It is left to the reader to make a
determination as to the veracity of your claims.

file it or should I just let your flagrant violation of my
privacy go? I haven't made up my mind yet what to do considering
there is a remote chance that you are really a Vietnam Vet and
you are just suffering from some Psychological problems - but if
