impertinent Question # 141 |
Which is more disturbing - a congressman who is forced to resign in disgrace
after admitting he took bribes from defense contractors, or a Department of
Justice which shows no interest at all in who these defense contractors
were, what laws they may have broken or what weapons systems were involved ?

That's an easy one, actually. I have become so accustomed to
politicians being lying weasels that "Duke" doesn't faze me. I shake
my head in disgust, and hope the fucker will drop the names of all the
other douche-bags who have taken bribes.
It really bothers me that DoJ isn't doing much about the defense
contractors. But remember, they also have the Abramoff scandal to cope
with - I read an article today that said they have reassigned 50
lawyers to help with that case. I can't wait to see how much more
human garbage they can round up.
