Don't tell that to Bill, Kevin. He'll just tell you the Jews control the oil
companies. And the Jews hated Europe more for the last 20 years and only
decided to raise prices in America recently as a warning to not fail to
support Israel and to show them how bad it can become for them. Hey, Bush
shows strong support for Israel in this Lebanon thing and look what happens:
gas is now less than $3 at our local pumps!
Isn't that right Bill? See? I saved you from having to type. You can thank
me later.
I think I'm getting this idiocy in logic down pat. How'd I do Bill?

True or False ?
The price of gasoline at the pump has nothing to do with supply and
demand. It is now simply a way for speculators in New York to register
their disapproval of US failure to meet Israel's dictates regarding
American policies in the mid east.
Trick question. I thought there weren't supposed to be any trick
questions in these quizzes.
The price of gasoline at the pump is controlled by the companies that
produce that gasoline. The oil supply isn't the problem. It's our
refining capacity. And who controls that? The oil companies. So it is
in their best interest to keep refining capacity low so that the price of
gasoline can be artificially inflated to produce all-time record profits.
Even so, the price we pay today for gasoline is still relatively cheap
compared to the rest of the world. They've been paying the equivalent of
$5 a gallon for gas for twenty years in countries like Germany and Italy.
