Because the level of tension here in London is so high, and we have had
now 9 bombing attacks in 2 weeks.
No one is taking any chances. The guy, according to witness reports,
was fleeing from police, jumped the barrier in to the station and ran
to a train, in a heavy overcoat through London has experienced high
heat, he refused, according to witnesses, to follow police orders, and
not knowing what system of firing the device he may have had the
police, or SAS or who ever they were, terminated the threat.
If the suicide bombers and would be suicide bombers can be stopped and
made fools of dying without even doing anything, being humiliated as
afraid or stupid, it will discourage other attacks
Unlike Iraq London has a way to win this battle and lucky for England
Bush has no say in forming the policy, if he did the battle would soon
be lost. The strategy is simple and clearly in place. First the
police and forces must secure transport and get as many of the members
of these groups as possible making it clear that a suicide attack will
most likely end in humiliation and failure. Secondly Britian can not
turn on its Muslim population.
If these two objectives can be held Britian will, as in the Battle of
Britian, have won a massive victory for the world against terrorism.
Again the free world depends on Britian, saddly no one of FDRs class is
in the US.
