Impertinent Question # Sixty |
If a federal official has information about criminal activity on the
part of another federal official shouldn't he have disclosed it to the
justice department and not whispered it to newspaper reporters ? Why is
this Felt person laughing and hoping to turn a profit from his dereliction
of duty ?

Yeah, what a profit ... he waits till he's age 91 to cash in???
You right-wing fanatics are blind as freaking bats.
If he'd gone to anyone in an official position, he probably risked being
killed, or at minimum, faced the consequences of an IRS audit ...
Remember, McCarty? Dirty tricks?
What I remember best about the era is the Nixon campaign basically
engineered the choice of the extreme left McGovern as the Democratic
candidate, thus guaranteeing the GOP sweep in 1972. Muskie was a far better
candidate, but they forced him out in New Hampshire, before he could even
get rolling.
I look forward to a rebuttal.

McCarty! I just remembered. We had a somewhat vicious give-and-take a
number of years back, over the Great Redneck South's 35-year-old drug war,
and how it's done nothing but raise drug prices, create disrespect for the
law and fill your prisons.
And, of course, you turned it into some war of words over what else? WAR.
And how America saved, singlehandedly of course, the free world from the
Nazis ...
Still hunkered down in a Pennsylvania backwater? .
