Impertinent Question # Twenty Five |
Anybody else waiting for that White House report on the person
responsible for outing Valerie Plame as a CIA agent ? How bout the
investigation into the person responsible for getting 22 soldiers killed in
that mess tent explosion ? How about the investigation into the unguarded
ammunition dump looted by Iraqis after we took Baghdad.? Or is it only
privates and corporals who are held responsible for foul- ups in today's
army?

Doug Says: Apparently, the CIA operative was not outed - She
was well known by the general press to be a CIA operative. (So
says Novak). The mess tent debacle is the direct fault of the
commanding officers and they should be court martialed for
allowing that to happen. The Ammo Dump was cleaned out long
before we liberated Iraq, with some small exceptions. Our
troops removed those exceptions and destroyed them.

If everyone on earth knew it, the question still remains - how did they
find out ?
Bush said he wanted to get to the bottom of it, and would support a full
investigation. And that's the last we've heard of it.

I didn't ask for YOUR opinion of who was responsible. I asked for the
result of the Army's investigation as to who was responsible. We were told
not to rush to judgement on this matter until the investigation was
completed. And that's the last we've heard of it.

The "White House" doesn't investigate stuff. Ask Ashcroft.
